I strive to capture the mood and atmosphere of a scene, not just the image. How does this image, place or object make me feel. This guides my vision for the artwork ever before I get into the technicalities. Starting an artwork is literally a blank canvas, full of creative possibilities and my favorite part. Wherever it takes me from there, mood and atmosphere are my guiding principles. Acrylics as my preferred medium because of the exceptional colours, the ease of use and the quick drying time.
