As a painter I am always striving to capture the mood, or the atmosphere of a scene, not just the image. How does this image, place or object make me feel, what memories or feelings does it throw up, would it stir the same emotions on the eventual viewer. This guides my vision for the, as yet, non-existent piece. Starting an artwork is literally a blank canvas, full of creative possibilities and my favorite part. Wherever it takes me from there, mood and atmosphere are my guiding principles in creating your unique artwork. I paint using Acrylic as my preferred medium. because of the exceptional colours, the ease of use and the quick drying time
